Hello. I’m Munashe Michael Kumbirai Manhangwe.

(yeah, I know. It a mouthful)

I’m a Portrait and Street Photographer Based in Essex, United Kingdom, with a background in Graphic Design.

I’ve lived most of my life in a couple of different countries. From Zimbabwe, Trinidad and Tobago, The Bahamas on Nassau, and The United Kingdom.

My approach to Portrait Photography is a bit methodical.  Prior to any shoot, if at all possible I’ll sit down with the client, have a coffee or tea and talk about the specifics which they want to get out of the session, creating an aesthetic for the session. The concept comes first or in terms of an in-situ style shoot a location is chosen. Everything, from the smallest of details such as hair, to the biggest defining factors are discussed, making it a much more engaging session for both the photographer and client.
